Day 1. BISHKEK
Arrival in Bishkek
You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. City tour of Bishkek.
Day 2. BISHKEK – KOCHKOR- SON-KUL LAKE
After breakfast, travel to Kochkor village.
Kochkor village where you will visit the Altyn Kol Women’s Handicraft Co-operative
At Felt Master’s we will learn how nomadic Kyrgyz women made felt rags Shyrdak, Ala-Kiyiz- a floor covering made by pressing felt of various naturally dyed colors. You will see a show of the process of felt carpet making.
Lunch will be served at Felt Master’s house in Kochkor.
Kochkor is a famous province for farmers and woolen felt makers. Afternoon continue driving to Sonkul Lake.
Transfer to Son-Kul Lake. It is the second largest mountain lake in Kyrgyzstan located at 3015 m above sea level. Very popular Tian-Shan mountain lake for summer pastures-Dzhailoo, horse riding learners and mare’s milk lover’s. Best place for nature lovers who like to count stars at midnight through the open top of Kyrgyz Felt Dwelling Yurt- Boz-Ui.
Here you will have an experience to eat and sleep in a Yurt neighbored with sheep and horses.
Afternoon free for exploration, horse riding and just relaxation without Wi-Fi and mobile services.
Lunch / Dinner and overnight in a CBT Yurt.

Day 3. SONKUL LAKE – TASHRABAT CARAVAN SARAI - NARYN
Today we drive to Tash-Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road, a well-preserved 15th century stone fortress in At-Bashy Mountain Range, 100 km before Kyrgyz-Chinese border Torugart. There is an argue in the history that it was related to Nestorian or Buddhist monastery.
Today’s trip will pass through the beautiful mountains and valleys of Tian-Shan where we will enjoy the stunning view of the At-Bashy mountain range from Moldo-Ashuu pass 3200 m.
Upon arrival exploration of Tash-Rabat canyon with similar to Mongolian landscapes.
lunch in Yurt. Exploration. Late afternoon drive to Naryn. This town which is the 10th largest by population town in Kyrgyzstan and with nicknames: Naryngrad and Kyrgyz Siberia. It is situated on banks of the Naryn River, one of the main tributaries of the Syr-Darya river that flows to Aral Sea. Overnight.
Day 4. NARYN - BOKONBAYEVA – TAMGA
After breakfast Bokonbaeva village. Upon arrival visit Eagle hunter’s house to meet Golden Eagle hero. FAQ of eagle hunting. Eagle hunting demonstration.
Afternoon continue driving to Tamga village. Dinner and overnight in homestay.
Day 5. TAMGA – BARSKOON WATERFALL – KARAKOL
After breakfast drive to Barskoon gorge. Upon arrival hiking in the gorge. Optional hike to waterfall. Later drive to village to visit Ak-Orgo Workshop center to see how to build traditional yurt dwelling. Yurt Building Demonstration.
Later drive to Karakol. Visit the Prejevalskiy Museum. Walking tour of Karakol. Russian Orthodox Church of 19 century and Pagoda Style Dungan Mosque. Afternoon free. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6. KARAKOL – CHOLPONATA – CHONKEMIN VALLEY
Drive to Cholpon-Ata. Visit Cholpon-Ata rock petrogliphs. Later drive to Chon-Kemin valley.
Overnight in Homestay in Chonkemin
Day 7. CHONKEMIN VALLEY – BISHKEK
First part of day is exploration in the valley. Hiking to the nearby mountains. After lunch drive to Bishkek. En route stop in Burana tower.
Arrival in Bishkek. Walking city tour. Overnight.
Day 8. BISHKEK
Transfer to the airport.
